HEIC to JPG, without sending your photos anywhere

iPhones save photos as HEIC because it packs the same picture into about half the space of a JPG. Most websites, forms and older programs still want JPG, so people end up uploading their camera roll to a converter site to get one. Locavert does the same job on your own device: the photo is decoded and re-saved right here in the browser.

Orientation is read from the photo and applied, so nothing comes out sideways. You can set the JPG quality, shrink the photo to fit a size, or ask for a file under a certain number of megabytes. Live Photos convert as the still image.
